I’m always going on about Japanese KitKats, but they’re hard to find if you’re not in Japan, so I’ve decided to give some away in a KitKat comp! Just leave a comment below, stating what you think would be a cool new KitKat flavour. The best answer will receive five different flavours of KitKat mini (mango pudding, ramune soda, Hokkaido baked potato, Hokkaido grilled corn, sour orange) and a brand new ume soda (plum soda) KitKat. Some of my favourite Japanese KitKats so far have been ramune soda (blue one above), mango pudding, jasmine tea, caramel macchiato McFlurry and University Sweet Potato. PS I thought that *I* was addicted to KitKats but then I saw this one picture from a guy on Flickr who has collected 50 different kinds of Japanese kitkats!

I’d love to see a coffee + ice cream float variety. It would be like eating a solid iced coffee, but with a bit more sweet to it.
The jasmine tea one is also a favorite of mine, and is surprisingly like jasmine tea.
I think the classic Red Velvet Cake would be terrific interpreted in Kit Kats. YUM!
Finally an oppertunity to taste all those amazing KitKats you rave about. I think a yoghurt and maple sirup KitKat would taste delicious.

Oh gosh, a kit kat with cream cheese filling would be to die for! I really wish they experimented with chocolate bars here as much as they do in Japan. They have so much fun with their food!
definitely aloe or aloe with yogurt. it’s the bestest flavor for candy that japan has discovered and the rest of the world seems to have missed. <3

Here in Quebec, Pop Tarts are among Quebecois’ favourite treat, so I believe a Pop Tart collaboration with Kit Kat would give an amazing flavour!
Or, staying in my culture’s “cuisine”, a cream sugar Kit Kat. To some, cream sugar is something unknown; it’s real name is ‘sucre à la crème’, and is made of a lot of sugar (of course!), cream, vanilla, butter and brown sugar. You send the stuff to the fridge, and here you go! Some people add their own ingredients (such as marshmallows, nuts, maple syrup or add a Caramilk between two layers of cream sugar *drools massively*). You cut the preparation into small squares and it’s ready!

So, that’s why a cream sugar KitKat would be blissful.
I think it would be cool to see a baklava-inspired kitkat c: That or a pumpkin pie flavored kitkat … There are so many different possibilities, I wonder how they decide on the ones they come up with

Since I got back from Japan I’ve been trying to get my hands on ANY flavourred Kit Kats I can in Sydney! So far Market City is proving my only hope… but this!

Flossy flossy cream cheese! Just the most oiishi dessert I had in an iza kaya in Osaka. It’s cream cheese, whipped until it almost resembles pavlova, drizzled in maple syrup and served with wafer thin crackers.
