
In honor of the KitKat flavour competition, here are some cool flavoured things I saw while in Japan. This plastic ice-cream display was in the same Osaka shopping street at the cake UFO catchers.

These potato chips are 夏 (summer) flavours! They came out in June. The pink one is a special variety of ume (sour plum) and the blue one is sea salt. The salted plum was very intense!

These crunchy Biz chocolates were Waffle Vanilla flavour.

Lavender flavoured white chocolate, a winter specialty made from Hokkaido lavender and blueberries.

True to life, this Creme Brulee ice-cream was topped with a caramelised burnt sugar layer on top that shattered when you tapped it with your spoon (it was a caramel sauce on top of a thin layer of hard white chocolate).

and while i’m not a fan of lavendar, i have to say that the picture on the packaging of thw white chocolate is yummy-looking

it was shaped like a watermelon and had choc-chips that looked like seeds.

lyn, i think i developed an obsession with plastic ice-cream displays, the attention to detail is so amazing! i loved the strawberry sauce and melon sauce on those, so cute.
emmaline, i love that watermelon ice-block too!!! it looks just like a slice of watermelon but somehow tastes even yummier than watermelon! they had a honeydew flavour too, and it was also good!
I love those lavender chocolates and I am now craving for that creme brulee ice cream cup.

Midge, I am craving that creme brulee ice cream too!! They also had a millefeuille flavour that was amazing, it had buttery, flaky pastry on top.
