Petit patterns

They have these cool pattern books in Japan that have hundreds of pages of cute designs, and they come with a CD that contains the JPGs and EPS files so you can use them for anything. I bought this one, called Petit Pattern Book Simple & Natural at a book shop over there and it’s so handy (the books are also available online). As well as heaps of cute designs, it includes instructions for how to use the patterns to make key holders, card cases, and flower planters. It’s also where Pretty Pretty Yum Yum’s background image is from. Here are some more pages from it…

There are heaps of other volumes in the Petit Pattern series, such as “Dots & Stripes”, “Flowers & Leaves” and so on… Can I have them all please??

I love these books, though I never seem to get around to using the patterns. My favorite is the Japanese Style one though. :)
