Azuma patisserie

Ton Ton is my favourite casual Japanese in Sydney, and Azuma Patisserie is my fave Japanese patisserie. I visited both today with my friend Liz, who is addicted to Ton Ton’s tonkotsu ramen. I love their Gekikara (very spicy) ramen, mapo tofu ramen and karaage bowl. The bento boxes are great too! In the patisserie, their maneki neko (beckoning cat) is a clear version filled with lollies. ^__^ It invites customers to enjoy the range of patisserie, daifuku (mochi and red bean cakes), green tea frappes and icecreams.

The pastries and cakes are divine and they also make an amazing soy milk pudding with a brown sugar sauce. It’s like a sweet tofu pudding.

They also do green tea soft serve and yogurt icecream. Thanks Liz for the photos of today’s excursion!

This is the place I bought the cute yellow bird shaped daifuku (mochi cakes) a while ago but they don’t seem to have themed ones anymore, just plain black sesame/red bean ones.

The Regent Place area also has a shop selling Japanese beauty products and cosmetics (Hello Kitty eyelash curlers and so on), an arcade with skill testers and a few other cute stores.

    Oh that spicy ramen and mabo tofu sound so yummy, I feel in a spicy mood right now haha^^

    I just love that photo of the sweets, I want to jump into that case and roll around all over them. Oh that sounds so weird haha!

    Those sweets sound and look soooo yummy! I wish I had a shop like that where I lived! :D
